ALN Diwali Celebration 2026
Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a major holiday celebrated throughout India and South Asia. The Asian Leaders Network (ALN) & Waco Downtown Farmers Market (WDFM) have come together to host ALN’s third annual celebration on Saturday, November 14, 2026 5-8pm at the Bledsoe-Miller STEAM Center.
We are celebrating through a catered Indian dinner, family-friendly film screening, live opening South Asian cultural dance performance, an arts & crafts area with Art Center Waco, raffle giveaways, photobooth, and more! Free & open to the public.

Diwali Celebration Parking Guide
The Asian Leaders Network nonprofit in Waco, TX organized Waco’s first-ever Diwali Festival for the past two years in collaboration with the Waco Downtown Farmers Market. This year, in lieu of a festival, Asian Leaders Network has partnered with Transformation Waco & the Bledsoe-Miller STEAM Center to host an evening celebration filled with food, film, and fun!
Free parking lots are available around the STEAM Center located at 300 N M.L.K. Jr Blvd, Waco, TX 76704. Parking at the STEAM Center is free, but spaces are limited. Guests may park in the lots on either side of the building. The front entrance is located on the opposite side of the playground, next to the space shuttle mural.
We encourage guests to carpool or allow extra time to locate overflow parking along Elm Street near Bridge Street Plaza, University Parks, or at Heritage Square. The STEAM Center is approximately a 10-minute walk from the free parking lot at Heritage Square across the Brazos River/suspension bridge.
