ALN 2025 Diwali Festival & Event Schedule
Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a major holiday celebrated throughout India and South Asia. The Asian Leaders Network (ALN) & Waco Downtown Farmers Market (WDFM) have come together again to organize and host our second Diwali 2025 Festival in Waco, Texas on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Bridge Street Plaza (200 E Bridge St Waco, TX 76704) from 9am-1pm.
We are celebrating through live South Asian cultural dance and music performances, an arts & crafts booth, interactive scavenger hunt activity that starts at 9am, raffle giveaways, festival market small business & local artist vendors alongside regular WDFM vendors, food trucks, and so much more! Free & open to the public.
We will have local handmade vendors, artist, food pop-ups, and food trucks for the event alongside regular WDFM vendors. Our vendor line-up is listed in our event page below and on our social media channels.
Diwali Festival Event Details & Parking Guide
The Asian Leaders Network nonprofit in Waco, TX organized Waco’s first-ever Diwali Festival for the community last fall 2024. From Bollywood Fusion Dance teams and more, find a variety of local and Texas-based performers on October 18, 2025! Check out our event schedule alongside the event parking map & shuttle guide.
Our festival this fall 2025 begins at 9am with an interactive scavenger hunt activity alongside raffle prize opportunities, vendors, food trucks, performers, regular WDFM vendors, and more fun and ends at 1pm at Bridge Street Plaza in Waco.
Bring your lawn chairs and outdoor blankets to enjoy a vibrant event! We will have exciting performances throughout 9am-1pm on the Bridge Street Plaza stage. Our event is free and open to the public - no tickets required!
Free parking is available surrounding Bridge Street Plaza and at the Waco Family Medicine parking lot (Saturday mornings only). A free city shuttle is available starting at the Doris Miller Community Center (1200 Elm Ave) to Brotherwell Brewing’s mural (400 Bridge St) - the corner of Bridge St and Myrtle. There is seating (and shade) on that side of the building as well and the free shuttle will run from 9am-1pm.
